No need to be sorry, it might have actually saved my life. The stroke (which was very minor) caused some minor memory loss and I was only in the hospital for about a week. Back to work in a month. And it prompted a referral to a blood specialist who diagnosed a previously unknown to me clotting disorder. Could have resulted in a heart attack or blood clot in my lungs, both possibly fatal. Instead I’m alive and in fairly good health for a man 55 y.o. Now let me catch up with my story and see what the mind of a dirty old man can come up with… ;)

Excellent job on this story! Thanks for writing it and sharing it here. This is my favorite type of story, featuring a couple in love where the husband is stolen away from his wife, who remains involved throughout the story. I realize I may be in the minority on this, but I personally love that it was told from a female protagonist point of view. Looking forward to reading more stories written by you!

Is there any reason why Will and Jayson can't take turns? Strike a new deal, where they alternate who's in control?

Very interesting plot twist. And very hot mind control scene.

Such a good brother, helping Malcolm find peace and accept the depraved gooner he is. No shame, only pleasure. All his innocence sucked away. This felt darker than some of your other work but the corruptive elements in all your stories always push my buttons. Can't wait until your next story/series.

@[Evan Jackson](/user/show/133763) Glad I’m still pushing your buttons 😜 I wanted to step up the corruption to a new level for the finale. Very happy it seems to have landed!

Bro I greased up just for this! When I said I wanted Romeo to have a happy ending, I never would've imagined it'd be like this! I love that he's able to make love with all five of his friends and that the stone literally worked to make a best outcome. Plus I'm so glad Gabe and Malcolm are gooner buddies! That means Romeo could leave in peace

I have not! Somehow missed that you'd written one!

@[DaymionMC](/user/show/10033419) Oh well the full novel version of The Reindeer Clause is on Amazon, under my pseudonym Scott Woodruff. It's currently on sale both kindle and paperback. The one story segment that's still on here is the original prologue (which got cut down and made less dark in the novel version).

Look, I know you had an idea for this as a whole anthology series, but I'm not sure you quite know what you have in the Sean and Patrick story. I'm not sure I can get it across. It is lightning, captured. It's an entire possibility of a novel in what is currently a short story. It is quite simply some of the best work you've ever done, and I am a raving fanboi of your other stories. There is so much more of this particular story to tell, and you will do yourself a real disservice if you completely abandon it for the rest of your anthologies. I'm not asking that you continue right now, but don't limit yourself. Keep this open as something to come back to someday. It deserves it, and you do too.

@[DaymionMC](/user/show/10033419) Yeah, the novel vibe very quickly came on. Additionally at least one of the segments I had planned for the anthology is tonally a very bad match now. It was fine when there was only the first part of this story written, but I'm doing a lot of reconsidering. Now it feels like instead of a Black Mirror type anthology, it's more of a big sci-fi thriller and some of the plot lines are just happening in a different place and the characters in this narrative line are just unaware of the details. I can tell you that I may not be able to release an entire book here but I will release what I think is a satisfying amount of material and then probably make a novel later out of it. I can't explain too much without spoiling everything but trust that I have a lot of stuff planned. Like I plotted out the first part of this series about 5 years ago so it's been incubating for quite a while.
