There's no hypnosis at all in this, is there? Why'd you label it that way?

@[BlondieBoy](/user/show/2505879) Haha. Thanks. I’m not sure how I feel about locks, but I have more ideas. I have to focus on work right now, but I hope to get something out next Monday.

It's a very hot story! I have to use Google trad to understand it, and it butchers some phrases, so I can't really judge if it's *well*-written, but I do like the ideas, and it's fun to have a story with an actual gay couple facing off against an hypnosis, they aren't a lot of those on the site!

@[BobbyBlobfish](/user/show/700733) thanks for the comment, unfortunately my english is not good enough to write such long and complex stories. I'm happy that you appreciate the idea anyway, this time I wanted to try to develop the characters a bit, the relationships between them.

@[BobbyBlobfish](/user/show/700733) I'm a native English speaker who has been living in Italy for almost a decade and I can tell you that the story is very well written. I'll give you a little example. In Italian, unlike in English, there exist different pronouns and forms of address depending on the relationship and rank between people. In English we address everyone with the pronoun _you_. In Italian there are very distinct familiar pronouns for this: _tu_ between young people and friends and family members and _lei_ between young people and older people and between work colleagues and toward officials. The verb conjugations change based on this as well so that the relationship between two people is always very clear based on how they are speaking with one another. This is always present in "The Carabinieri Academy" and really adds another layer to the story. Another thing to keep in mind is that the carabinieri in Italy are not just the police but are in fact a specialized branch of the military and their organization is actually older than the unified state of Italy itself. Becoming a carabiniere is not so much taking on a job as taking on a worldview and a way of life, which is very particular and doesn't really exist in the USA or the UK in the same way. This all makes the hypnosis plot even more effective, since it is contextualized within a military environment based on order and discipline and honor.
