Already messaged you before about this series but it’s definitely a classic (As much as gay erotic hypnosis stories can have a canon of literature, lol.) Glad it’s making its way over to GSS! I still revisit the story, even as recently as last week. Definitely converted my tastes to having stage hypnosis and classic hypnotism as my favorite tropes in these stories. To anyone who hasn’t read it, I highly recommended following this story!

@[11037](/user/show/13616) I could say almost exactly the same thing myself (although I loved stage stories before)

@[StageShowMM](/user/show/10005144) No problem! Hoping we get another big stage story like this one sometime!

@[11037](/user/show/13616) I've got others in the works but would be great if someone else would take a crack at it!

I agree! That said, I don't really write with specific guys in mind, more like archetypes (at least in this case), so, gotta use the descriptions and your imagination! ;)

I'm always eager to read Hypnothrill's stories, and this one does not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. While it's brief, it's erotically charged and well balanced.

I'm waiting to read the story like this for a long time. I wish that your next story could be about the regression of father and son. It could be hot.

The chapter summary quote makes me wonder how many here have an interest in philosophy; I seem to recall another author mentioning Schopenhauer at some point? Anyhow, I appreciate the ambiguous line between freedom and slavery your stories often present(and in particular the tension regarding "purpose" you've been riffing on lately), even if I'm a bit of a romantic at heart and sometimes find it all just a touch dark for my tastes. This series in particular feels like it has a certain _je ne sais quoi_ about it(could it just be my fascination with the modern superhero mythos? ha.) Good stuff.

@Anonymous Thank you for your comment! Very informative. What I tend to put out on here is often on the darker side, but I guess that's because I vent my romanticism in other ways. I do love to have a good cry at a touching story, but I'm also a greedy guy who likes to play both sides of a power dynamic.

@Anonymous I actually did my coursework at UC Irvine in the final years when Jacques Derrida would teach in the spring quarter. His classmate Etienne Balibar was there in the French department as well and I still remember his talk where he devoted a portion to analyzing the Bush administration's choice of "Shock and Awe" as the name for their invasion of Iraq. My scholarly philosophy is hermeneutical in nature, largely Gadamer and Ricoeur, but I use phenomenology in the form of Edward Casey and Jeff Malpas as well.

@[New Guy in Town](/user/show/820450) Oh, that's cool! My familiarity with philosophy is mostly from ancient history, but the modern field is fascinating!
