Okay that was a hot switch up. Even tho he has the power, he let Ruben control the situation. Now im thinking there should be a threesome in the near future. He could be sandwhich between declan and ruben, him fucking and being fucked. We could also include Leo to make it a foursome. Hell an orgy of players.

That's hot. I never thought I'd see a continuation of this story but it was happy surprise. In my opinion, you never fail to write hits. ❤️

Very nice! There’s something about the integration of romantic motivations in a rubber drone story that’s so unexpected and compelling. And the tiny sparks of individuality that persist while still maintaining compliance are fascinating. Y’all are doing a great job with the narrative while keeping it hot and sexy. I love it.

BRAIN FEED was the first of your stories I stumbled across -- lo, so many years ago -- and I remember being blown out of the water by it. As a writer, I admired its construction. As a reader... well, I love the orgasms it's given me. This is a delightful return. Writing stream of consciousness stories is tough, but you give us a sense of where and when -- I feel like you got everything across that you were intending us to know. Good return! Really, really enjoyed this!

@[absman420](/user/show/162063) Thanks, Absman! I'm not sure I got the stream of consciousness right. After re-reading it, I started thinking: would somebody actually think that? It's always a tricky tightrope to walk.

@[rubbrsome](/user/show/13662) Well, here we are in fiction, where some things must be forgiven. Every time I read a comic book, I see people saying things they'd never say, thinking things no one would ever think -- "I've got to get that weapon away from him before he uses it to reset time!" --- but they serve storytelling. You done good, kid.

Great to see you back with a new story! As a piece of writing and imaginative worldbuilding, this is very strong. There is some great play with language, especially with all the bold-faced ITs, presumably representing both inhumanity and Information Technology. That said, the story didn't turn me on in the way the original "Brain Feed" did, partly because our narrator here basically is all alone, and all the rubber-clad drones around him have become silent and interchangeable. I personally find your stories hottest when the characters are being reprogrammed but still have some semblance of humanity. I think in my ideal version of this story, the narrator would have had some kind of interaction with Brody or his other friends, urging him to join the cumUNITY. But still, I really enjoyed this and thought it was a very accomplished piece of writing.

@[Hypnothrill](/user/show/37386) That's completely fair. In this story, I wasn't so much aiming to get people off, but wanted to just return to the world and see how the Male Community Centers would've evolved? Could they evolve? And as they grew, and man diminished ... what would that be like? I think this was partially inspired by the final season of Stranger Things. Because there were so many parallels to a Wrinkle in Time, all these memories and fears of that book came flooding back. That mental image of Meg, walking through this neighborhood and seeing how she was a complete outsider in world that had conformed.. How IT forced everyone conformed. And I was also getting mental flashes of Tom Hanks character in the movie Castaway. How he was slowly being driven mad by his isolation. I guess, I just wanted to explore how man is not built to be alone. Is it better to resist, or is it better to conform? Even if you might lose your humanity ... and even if it's for the best? Hmmm ... as I ask these questions, I'm realizing that I probably didn't really explore this enough in the story.

Even though so many years have passed, you remain my favorite author of drone stories. It's just wonderful!!
