A short one but pretty good; it has a few mistakes here and there but nothing that diminishes the great idea behind it, I wish it was longer tho Hope this is not the last we see from u; also what is WMM??? õ_o

@The Influencer I get that. From the moment I started reading this story I knew it won't be a happy ending.. I just never anticipated that it would leave me so heartbroken. The ethics prof who battles with the moral dilemma of having the opportunity to have the guy he longing for but can't help it to feel like he is betraying his autonomy as a human being when acting on it . I know you didn't put overly emphasis on the moral contradiction this is no ethics course after all but some part of me just hoped the love-mad professor and his drone-like pupil would have a… not happier but more fulfilling ending. But that's probably just the foolishly romantic side of me speaking. It was over all a exceptionally well written story and very pleasant to read. I was ably to sink into the story like I haven't been for quite some books I read. I hope you keep up the good work and won't be to mad at me for hoping/wishing for some kind of different ending.

PS: I'm curious to know if that senator and that Aiden kid will play a bigger role in the upcoming resistance war. My guess is probably yes since they're probably set up there for a reason. I'm curious to know what kind of role they will play though.

I remember the first Slave Academy a few months back. I didn't know that a sequel was made. This is going well so far, I can't wait to read the rest of it. Please update soon!

I'm sorry I bummed you guys out. I didn't realize my readers were such hopeless romantics. :P I appreciated the comments (keep them coming please). I knew writing this story that it was going to be a mostly sad story. I think all the characters are complicated and not innocent, including Greg and Curtis. Everyone's motivation is questionable which leads to a lot of moral ambiguity. I think it would have felt cheap to write an ending where they end up together, given they should never have been together in the first place. I have a general idea for a series based in the same world, unrelated to the characters of Greg and Curtis (sorry, guys). It'll be a while before I write it, if at all. Admittedly, this last season of Westworld is too fresh in my mind and a lot of the concepts in my story are too similar for me to feel like I have an original idea. Maybe if I mull it over I'll feel better about it. I have other ideas in mind, and I think my next story will perhaps be a bit less melancholy than this one. Keep the feedback coming, it really helps. Even if I don't take it all in, having a sense of how my work is being received helps me to write more.
