COMMENT CONTENT WARNING: rape. Hmmmmm. I admit, Elan, that your comment has required me to rethink my response to this story. Here are my two cents, which everyone is free to turn down! As you say, Elan, the majority of the stories on this site involve mind control and, as a result, non-consensual sex. But what sets most of them apart, at least for me, is the element of fantasy/magic/impossible science/science fiction that motivates that sex. To give a few examples: dear Willie Cici (whose stories usually involve straight dudes "changing" to gay) have involved ancient Egyptian and Greek gods and impossible levels of hypnosis; Hypnothrill dabbles in aliens and impossible combinations of mutagens and hormones (always vague enough to suggest some kind of dark force); and Onix's characters use dark magic/witchcraft. In fact, the stories that present straight men as "just turning gay" as they're forced into it/raped make me EXTREMELY uncomfortable, because they imply that sexuality can be changed in "real-life" circumstances. That's why I always like it when authors present their characters as gay/bisexual/attracted to men in the first place. :p All of that is largely a prelude to what makes this story uncomfortable for me personally: the knowledge that there are *genuinely people who think like the redneck.* Being reminded of the racist individuals in this world who actually buy into that disgusting line of "reasoning" makes me start thinking about racial coding and implications. And maybe that was your goal! Combining erotica with thinkpieces is an awesome tool; I guess that it's a weird combination, especially when race is involved. Interracial white master/black slave play is, for me, one of those kinks, like rape play or age play, that raises all sorts of ethical questions. And it's not always fun to think about ethical questions, especially on a site whose primary purpose is sexual pleasure. And I think that gets to the root of my, and perhaps other readers', issues with this story: the presentation of black/white race relations. That's generally a touchy subject, so to see it presented here does raise the hackles a bit. Does the fact that you're black make those hackles go all the way down? No, admittedly. But it *does* make me believe that the choices were deliberate, and not some tone-deaf white dude writing without considering the implications. Those deliberate choices don't "fix" the discomfort the story generates for me personally, but they DO give me a new perspective on the tale. Thank you for reading my comment! I mean there are definitely plenty of stories here that function on a baseline of internalized homophobia the same way this one functions on the idea of the white guy being superior to the protagonist so...i dunno

How about a story where some chickenshit commenter defending a racist story on this hellsite gets brainwashed to have taste?

I feel like in the first paragraph there's an implication that it's only because of mind control that the black protagonist is being influenced to (incorrectly) believe that all black people are naturally subservient to white men. But IMO, this implication's a little too subtle.
